The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is located on the beautiful grounds of Barber Motorsports Park, an 880-acre, multi-purpose racing facility built by George Barber. The facility serves as the official US driving school of Porsche (Porsche Track Experience, Birmingham), and is the site for Alabama PCA Region HPDE events. Barber is noted for its landscaping and greenery; the track has been referred to as “The Augusta National of Motorsports.”
The museum is recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest motorcycle collection. With over 1,800 motorcycles spanning over 100 years of production, the Barber collection represents 220 different manufacturers from 22 countries. Showcasing the unique design of each individual piece, this epic display reveals the fine art of the motorcycle. But that’s not all. The museum also features the world’s most extensive collection of Lotus cars, plus an assortment of other rare and unusual cars, including Porsches.
