This tour will follow a scenic route to Pursell Farms, where you will be treated to the Pursell family’s “Unrivaled Southern Hospitality.”

The Pursell family shifted from the fertilizer business that began in 1904, to develop Pursell Farms into a premier regional family farm resort available for Alabama corporate retreats, leisure getaways, Orvis sporting clays, and weddings. The FarmLinks Golf Club was built in 2002 as “the world’s only research and demonstration golf course.”
 

Lunch is at the Founders Pub. Showcasing panoramic views of the FarmLinks Golf Club’s 18th fairway and beyond, the Founders Pub is a comfortable and casual gathering place for our group lunch. Chef Sean Butler’s Southern heritage menu features made-from-scratch items crafted with time-honored preparations such as smoking, pickling, and barbecuing, using ingredients fresh from Southern gardens and farms.

After lunch you may choose to participate in one of the many activities offered at the Farm: a Guided Farm History Tour, Horseback Riding, the Petting Zoo, Archery, Sport Shooting, or even Axe Throwing!
